Palomo Cantarito
Cantaritos aren’t just Tequila anymore. Palomo Mezcal makes a delicious update to this classic Jalisco Tequila Cocktail. You can make this at home with friends, if you use delicious Mezcal and fresh juices, they’ll all think you’re a cocktail master.
Ingredients & Directions
- Tajín seasoning (for rim)
- 2 ounces Palomo Joven Espadín
- .75 ounce grapefruit juice, freshly squeezed
- .75 ounce orange juice, freshly squeezed
- .5 ounce lime juice, freshly squeezed
- 1 pinch salt
- About 3 ounces grapefruit soda, chilled, to top
- Lime wedge garnish
- Prepare a clay cantarito cup by soaking it in cold water for 10 minutes.
- Rim the cup with Tajín seasoning.
- Add Palomo Joven Espadín, fruit juices, and salt into a shaker with ice. Shake until well-chilled.
- Strain into the prepared cup or Collins glass over fresh ice.
- Top with grapefruit soda and stir to combine.
- Garnish with lime wedge.
